Air Dryer Cartridge

Structure
Composed of housing, desiccant (molecular sieve/silica gel), filter screen and sealing rings.
Working Principle
During air charging, humid compressed air passes through the cartridge with moisture and oil adsorbed by desiccant. When pressure releases, dry backflow air blows off trapped water to regenerate desiccant.

Service Life

Normally replaced every 60,000 km or 1 year; shorten to half a year in humid areas.
Replace if water accumulates frequently in air reservoir or brake valves get rusty.
Disadvantages of Inferior Products
Failed water absorption leads to water icing and rusted brake components, resulting in brake malfunction.
